Welcome to Joy Scavengers
A monthly hunt for everyday joy.
Each month, we send out a new scavenger hunt and feature one person who pays close attention to the world.
Share What You Found
Add your photos or anything inspired by the hunt here. A blurry shot, a poem, a short story, a painting?
It all belongs!
When Emma pays attention, she sees design. She stays curious about all the ways the future could be built with more kinds of people, and more ways of thinking, in mind.
Know a Joy Scavenger?
Some people really embody what it means to be a joy scavenger. If someone you know would make a great featured scavenger, we would love to hear more about them!
Joy Shop
A tiny excuse to add more joy to what is already there.
Each magnet is made by hand, so no two are exactly alike. Stick them over photos, postcards, grocery lists, or anywhere else that could use a little bit of joy.
Mini set- 5 tiny magnets (about 1 inch each)
Regular set- 2 magnets (about 1.5-2 inches each)
Created for the September 2026 hunt and inspired by Maggie Warren’s special scavenger item, “Yes, and” is part of a limited series of seven 8×10 prints. Each print includes a handwritten caption, making every piece slightly unique. Your purchase helps keep Joy Scavengers free and supports future postcards, featured scavengers, and community projects.
Only seven prints of each month’s illustration are made.
The original artwork is gifted to that month’s featured Scavenger as a thank you for their contribution to the project.
Every print purchased helps fund future postcards, illustrations, and featured Scavengers while keeping the monthly hunt free for everyone.
Prints are 8×10 matte
