About Joy Scavengers

I’m Taylor.

I’m an artist, mom of 3 boys, and someone who spent a long time moving too quickly to notice small everyday joys.

Joy Scavengers began as a somewhat silly question:

What would happen if I deliberately looked for ordinary everyday things as if they were items on a scavenger hunt list?

Now, each month, I create a small hunt built around seven things anyone can find. Sometimes they become illustrations, poems, postcards, conversations, or just a blurry photo on my phone. Most of the time they become moments I would have otherwise missed.

This project isn’t about productivity, optimization, or self-improvement.

It’s just one way of helping myself and others pay closer attention.

The post cards are free because I want this to feel more like an invitation than a product. And I want to be part of the conversation that says, ‘You don’t need more things to live a richer life.’

Welcome to the hunt!
